At Barskeoch Wood, we pride ourselves on our family-friendly atmosphere and pet-friendly policies. We are dedicated to providing guests with a memorable stay surrounded by nature. As a small, privately run business, we understand the importance of creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.

There are lots to do! ..... Guests at Barskeoch Wood can enjoy a  range of walks in the surrounding countryside and take in the breathtaking views that surround us . Why not enjoy a picnic in the specially allocated areas in the adjacent woodland? Once night falls, experience Galloway's dark skys and try your hand at stargazing? Whether you are looking to explore the great out doors or simply relax, there's something for everyone to enjoy at the site, 

The Certfied Location site offers a hard standing for each van with a grassed area ajacent to the pitch.

!6 am electrical hook ups are available for each pitch and  chemical and grey water disposal points can be found nearby .  We have a certified drinking water supply as well as covered bins for dry waste disposal.

Located next to the A713, the site is on a bus route - time tables will be published soon

The rate per van per night is £20.00 based on two adults with a charge of £3.00 for each additional adult . All children under the age of 16 are free!.... and of course pets are also free .
